New Music From Alessia Cara "Shapeshifter"

Alessia Cara is well known for her songs “Here” and “Scars To Your Beautiful." After the success of her debut album Know-It-All, the Brampton-Native collaborated with rapper Logic and Khalid on “1-800-273-8255” which has been critically acclaimed as this song is named after the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline and delivers a message of hope. Following the release of the song, the Canadian was nominated for four Grammy Awards, taking home the Best New Artist award in 2018.
On November 30th, 2018 Alessia released her sophomore album “The Pains Of Growing”. It is a very personal record where the singer-songwriter talks about experience with anxiety, depression and heartbreak.
Alessia kicked off her third album, “In The Mean Time”, with singles “Sweet Dream”, a song about her struggles with insomnia and “Shapeshifter” about a past relationship. Her new album reflects duality and artistic growth from the singer as her sound and voice are more mature. Alessia Cara recently released a music video for one of her most personal songs “Best Days” including footage of her childhood and adulthood.
