EP ENTERTAINMENT (ALESSIA CARA, SEBASTIAN KOLE, Y.X.) LAUNCHES LATIN MUSIC DIVISION, NAMES ANGEL ZAMORA MANAGING DIRECTOR
LOS ANGELES – April 10, 2018 – EP Entertainment, the full-service music and entertainment company created by Robert “Robeo” Eleazer and Tony Perez, today announced the launch of its Latin music division and the appointment of Angel Zamora to the role of Managing Director. In this newly created role, Zamora will be responsible for developing the company’s Latin entertainment roster as well as generating revenue, cross-genre and language opportunities for its existing clients. EP is home to 2018 “Best New Artist” GRAMMY winner Alessia Cara, multi-award winning songwriter Sebastian Kole, and singer/songwriter/producer Y.X. among others.
Zamora will be based in Miami, Florida and will report to Eleazer, Perez, and EVP of Business Development and Strategy, Gary Sipich.
“When we met Angel, we realized he was the ideal person to create and execute the company’s Latin entertainment strategy,” said Eleazer. “We want to create diverse opportunities for our roster in all of the Americas and we know that his longstanding contacts, experience and strategy drives results. He is an established music and entertainment business executive and his background in television and cable is essential to entertainment today. With Angel on board EP will be able to bridge all genres of music to reach an audience who is culture and language blind,” added Perez.

Zamora joins EP from a lengthy career in music and television; he was most recently Music Producer for the Latin American Music Awards and has held executive positions in Talent Relations, Production and Management at NBC/Universal and BMG amongst others.
